Membership of the Insight Community is open to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria determined by the organisation.

To join, you must complete the online registration process and provide accurate and up-to-date information.

The organisation reserves the right to accept or decline membership applications at its discretion.

Acceptance of these Terms

By registering for the Insight Community, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

The organisation may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on the community website.

Your Account

Membership is personal and may not be transferred to another individual.

Your username, password and any other account credentials are confidential and must not be shared with anyone else.

You are responsible for all activity carried out using your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, you must notify the organisation as soon as reasonably possible.

2. Confidentiality

The Insight Community is hosted by an independent research platform provider on behalf of the organisation.

Personal information provided during registration or while participating in research activities is stored securely and access is restricted to authorised personnel who require it for legitimate business purposes.

Information you provide through the Insight Community will be handled confidentially and processed in accordance with the organisation's Privacy Notice.

3. Data Protection

The organisation is committed to protecting your personal information and processing it in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

Further information about how your personal data is collected, used, stored and shared can be found in the organisation's Privacy Notice.

By using the Insight Community, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and kept reasonably up to date.

4. Cookies

The Insight Community uses cookies to support the operation of the platform.

These may include:

  • Session cookies that expire when you close your browser.

  • Cookies that prevent duplicate participation in research activities where appropriate.

  • Temporary cookies that save your progress if you leave a survey before completing it.

  • Authentication cookies that allow you to remain signed in between visits.

These cookies are used to operate the service and are not intended to track your browsing activity outside the Insight Community.

You can manage or remove cookies at any time using your browser settings, although doing so may affect the functionality of the website.

5. Communications

As a member of the Insight Community, you may receive invitations to participate in surveys, polls, discussions or other research activities.

Participation in every research activity is entirely voluntary, and you may choose not to participate or withdraw from an activity at any time unless otherwise stated.

You may leave the Insight Community at any time by following the instructions available on the community website or by using the unsubscribe link included in community emails.

If you contact the organisation or its research platform provider for technical or research-related assistance, your enquiry may be shared between them where necessary to resolve your request.

Members are expected to use the Insight Community respectfully and responsibly.

The following behaviour is prohibited:

  • Posting content that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, discriminatory, offensive, obscene or otherwise inappropriate.

  • Posting content that infringes the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of another person or organisation.

  • Uploading or transmitting malicious software, viruses or other code intended to interfere with the operation of the platform or other users' devices.

  • Using the community for advertising, marketing, spam or other commercial purposes unless expressly authorised.

  • Attempting to create multiple accounts or otherwise manipulate research activities.

  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to the platform or interfere with its operation.

The organisation reserves the right to remove any content or suspend access where these standards are not met.

7. Suspension and Termination

The organisation may suspend or terminate your membership immediately if it reasonably believes that you have:

  • provided false or misleading information;

  • breached these Terms and Conditions;

  • engaged in behaviour that disrupts the operation of the Insight Community or affects other members; or

  • used the platform unlawfully or inappropriately.

Where appropriate, you will be notified by email if your membership has been suspended or terminated.

The organisation will use reasonable care in operating the Insight Community but does not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted or free from errors.

To the extent permitted by law, the organisation will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Insight Community.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful.

9. General

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

Any delay or failure by the organisation to enforce a provision of these Terms and Conditions does not waive its right to enforce that provision in the future.

These Terms and Conditions do not create rights for any third party unless expressly stated.

The organisation and its research platform provider process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the organisation is established, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
